My Best Friend - 1x1 With Savii

When one girl falls head over heels in love with her engaged best friend, she is forced to come up with a solution to keep her best friend to herself. Hiring another friend to kidnap the man's fiancee, everything seems to be going smoothly until her best friend insists they search for his lost love. Accompanying him on his long journey, the woman learns why she fell for him in the first place. Meanwhile, the fiancee finds herself asking questions as to whether she is making the right choice of getting married, especially when her "kidnapper" has shown her things her fiance never had.

Roxy has always been a pretty girl, something she hates to hear more than life itself. She is a very smart very clever girl who loves nothing more than to read and write and doesn't even own more than 5 products of make up saving them for events where t is needed and nothing more. If anything she usually dresses herself down so people will see her brain not her beauty. Her boyfriend being one of the only people in her life who has ever even tried to look past her looks, though she isn't dumb and knows that her looks where probably what drew him to her in the first place. She currently works at a one of the best hospitals in town, as one of the top surgeons but that doesn't stop her male and even some female coworkers from calling her "Dr. Barbie" and other names like that.
History:
Even though she is a doctor now, there was a point in time when she was a teen that her face was used in many billboards and magazines. Her father seeing what a dreamboat his kid was and using that to make himself a lot of money. Though that money didn't help Roxy at all. At age 18 she did an adult film that paid for her schooling and hasn't looked back since, even going as far as changing her name, her real name being "Sara Bomont" Something she has kept from any and everyone so that no one who knows her would find out about her past.

Kevin is that guy al the way. The one you call on when you need a hand or something to party with. He is that perfect, sweet, super funny and dreamy guy all little girls dream of knowing when they grow up. He is smooth and classy yet has no problem ting off his shirt and get down to business when needed. He is kind, but can be firm when he is needed to be. Even though most see him as that guy he does have his flaws like anyone would, he only sees the good in people and finds it hard to see the bad, making him a huge target for being taken advantage of by others. Usually his best friend is able to tell him when this is happening and is able to get him to stop. Though when she says the same about the woman he wants to marry he knows in his soul she's wrong about her, that she I his soul mate no matter what others may say.
History:

Newt comes off as an approachable and attractive man to most, but when it comes to his imperfect looks, he gets very angry. He isn't the type of guy who likes to make conversation, or someone who likes when he receives compliments. Newt doesn't believe that his looks are what they should be, having scars and a more rugged approach than others. This has caused him to not value others for their outward appearance, but instead how they are inside and how they treat people around them.
Music is the one way that Nathan can express himself, him loving to move others with the music he makes; which is considered to belong to the EDM music genre. Newt does not venture out of his comfort zone, and doesn't reach out to people to make contact. He is more of a loner and a social recluse, but that's just how he prefers things. Too much drama in one's life is not good, which is how Newt thinks. The less going on, the less stress on his shoulders.

Christmas was running late for her surprise meeting with Kevin, having not seen him in what felt like forever to her. Checking herself over one more time to make sure she looked her best, Chris ran down her apartment building stairs while glancing at her watch. She was supposed to have been there more than ten minutes ago, but knew that Kevin wouldn't mind that she was late. The thought of spending time with her best friend was all that mattered, her racing to the bus stop just as the last bus was pulling up. After a short commute to the diner that she and Kevin often spent time at, she smiled to herself when she saw him sitting alone at one of their favorite tables. Sliding in across from him, she smiled again before putting her purse on the floor, giving him a soft hug across the table before speaking. "Sorry for taking so long, the bus was running late and I was just so excited. We haven't spoken a little while, I hope everything is alright." She said as she ordered her favorite smoothie, feeling more than happy that they were having lunch together. Sipping on her smoothie when it arrived, she gave him a smile as she waited to hear his big news.

Kevin sat sipping on a soda as he waited for his best friend to come and meet him. Today was a big day, well yesterday had been too. He had asked the girl of his dreams to marry him, and now he was going to have to ask his best friend to give the girl her blessing. Seeing the black haired irl s down he smiled hearing her excuse for being late. "Eh don't worry about it, I never expect you to be on time." he told her hugging her back and then sitting down in his seat, bursting with excitement over his news and wanting to shout it from the rooftops. He had asked the girl he loved to marry him, and best part.
She had said yes.

Christmas froze when she heard the name "Roxy" come from Kevin's lips, remembering the argument the two of them had had about her. "Yes, I remember. She's the reason we haven't spoke in what feels like forever, Kevin. I thought you said it was 'bro's before hoes'? I mean, we could have at least texted more, but you're always busy." She replied, taking another sip of her smoothie as her hands began to shake ever so slightly. "What about her?"

Kevin sighed, bit his lip as he looked down at the table. "Ya her, you see we've been dating for well since we last spoke. Shes really amazing Chris, like I think she the most amazing person I have ever met. And uh...well..." Kevin wasn't sure how to say what he was about to say that is till the long legged blonde he was in love with came over and sat down next to him kissing his cheek. "Oh Roxy there you are."

Roxy smiled sitting down at the booth, giving Kevin a kiss on the cheek before looking over at the famous Christmas herself having heard all about the girl and been wanting to meet her for quit a while. "Hi there babe, and you must be the famous Chris I've heard so much about." Roxy said smiling at the girl and holding out her hand to the woman. "I'm Roxy, by the way should have started out that." she said with a small giggle, nervous to be meeting someone so close to Kevin. "So have you told her yet?" Se asked looking over at Kevin who shook his head slightly. "Um no not yet." he told her, Roxy looking back at the girl and smiling. "Then I should let you two get back to it then, I'm gonna run to the lady's room, give you guys some more time to talk." She said getting up and leaving the table as Kevin looked back over at Chris.

Christmas glared at Roxy as she held out her hand, keeping her hand away from Roxy's. Watching Roxy leave, Christmas stared at Kevin in silence for a few moments. She bit her bottom lip, trying to fight back the tears at the thought of how close Roxy and Kevin were.
"Let me guess, Kevin. You guys have gotten very serious, so serious that you're probably about to ask me if I approve. Well, I hate to call this amazing meeting to a close, but I have better things to do than speak with Barbie about her amazing wedding plans. Good day, Kevin." Christmas stood up quickly, grabbing her purse as she threw away her smoothie. She had never really called Kevin by his full name, but she felt that things between them had turned cold. Leaving the diner, Christmas took her phone from her pocket and began to scroll through her contacts, smiling as she saw just the person to help her. Dialing the number, she got on to the bus before the man answered.

Kevin taking out his phone and texting his long time friend.
Hey, I'm sorry you didn't take my news too well. I hope you can be happy for me, there's only one person I really want to be y best man, well best lady in your case. Please text me back its been awful not having my best friend around these past few weeks and I'd really love for us to be us again and for you to get to know Roxy, she's really a great girl and I just know you'll love her once you get the chance.

Christmas walked along the darkened streets that night after meeting Kevin, a hoodie covering her head as she kept her eyes on the ground. "How could he do this to me? How does he not see?" She thought to herself as she approached the stairs of a rather rundown apartment building, buzzing the buzzer before hearing a man's voice answer. "Come on in."
Christmas went inside without a moment to hesitate, not wanting to be seen in such a shady area. Opening the front door to see quite the hairy man painting an abstract painting, loud club music playing in the background as she took a seat on his sofa. "What do you want, Chris?" Nathan asked, Christmas taking a deep breath as she thought of how to word her plan.
"Okay, so you know Kevin, right? Right. Anyways, there's someone trying to steal my happy ending, and I am just not having it." She began, Nathan's eyebrow raising as he kept his eyes on his painting, signaling for her to continue. "Alright, I want you to take this bitch out of the way." Christmas said confidently, as if she had been planning this since she heard of Roxy. "I don't do killings anymore, Christmas. I told you that already, but what I can do is I can get her out of your hair long enough for you to attempt to get your man. Sound like a deal?" He asked as he turned to face her, Christmas's face lighting up with excitement as she clapped her hands.
"Yes! Yes, Newt! That would be perfect! He won't want to go after her if she goes missing, so this is gonna work out great!" She cheered, hugging the man before turning towards the door, pausing before speaking. "So, how long will this take?" Newt rubbed his beard for a few minutes as he thought, going over all the details that Christmas had given him about Roxy. "Couple of weeks tops. Let me watch their routine, figure out when she is alone, and then I will strike. But, this shit isn't for free, I'm putting my freedom on the line so your price is going to be pretty high, Chris." Newt replied, Christmas rolling her eyes as she grabbed the doorknob. "I know how much it will cost, and I am prepared to give it all to you. I just want to make sure that Kevin falls out of love with her, so keep her out of sight for as long as you can. I'll wire you the money when I hear she is gone." Christmas said with a smug expression before heading out the door, Newt shrugging his shoulders with a nod before going back to painting.

Roxy was at work her break just starting as she headed outside for a smoke, Christmas's number in her hands as she took out her phone and dialed the number hoping to get on better terms with the girl for Kevin's sake. Holding the phone to her ear as she heard it ting hoping the girl would pick up and they could maybe talk.
Kevin was at home, waiting to hear from Chris and his girlfriend, knowing she had gotten the girls number from him and was wanting to thealkhealk to her and sheer what could be done to help them be freinds once more. Sighing Kevin tried to think why Chris hated Roxy so much, or rather any girl he dated. Thinking there had never been one girl in his life that Chris had liked, thinking that seemed strange to him but maybe she just didn't think they were nice girls. Roxy was thiugh, she was way out of his league but still gave him a decent chance and now look where they were. He thought of himself as a damn lucky son of a bitch to have a girl like Roxy on his arm and in his life for the rest of his life.

Roxy was thiugh, she was way out of his league but still gave him a decent chance and now look where they were. He thought of himself as a damn lucky son of a bitch to have a girl like Roxy on his arm and in his life for the rest of his life.

Christmas had her radio blasting, the whole house shaking as the glass rattled. She had been so happy about her plan she made with Newt, she had already started planning what she would wear when she saw Kevin again.
Singing along to the song as she held each dress up to her body, twirling around before holding up another. Seeing her phone light up, she frowned as she saw who it was. She had already saved Roxy's number by sneaking into Kevin's phone when he was in the bathroom, wanting to have her number in case for the very plans she had already made. Turning down the radio, she held the phone up to her ear before speaking. "This is Christmas, what's up?" Her tone trying to sound like she didn't know who was calling, although she knew very well. Hearing Roxy's voice on the other line made Christmas gag quietly, sticking her finger in her mouth as she stuck out her tongue. "Hey, sorry about earlier, I had a bad day. You know, I was thinking if you're free for lunch or something, I know of this amazing little private nook in nature. Perhaps we could have a nice picnic or something?" She suggested, texting the location to Newt after putting the phone on speaker, continuing her search for something sexy to wear. "Awesome! I'll see you there in about ten minutes? Great. See ya." Christmas hung up before getting dressed in a very appealing red dress, putting her hair up before heading out to get her nails done.
Nathan had finished getting his bug out bag together, just in case he was going to rough it in the woods with Roxy to avoid the police for awhile. Seeing the text message from Christmas with the picture of Roxy and the location, Newt headed outside and made his way to his car. Getting to the destination before Roxy, he set himself up to look like a common hipster in the park reading as he waited for her to show up.

Roxy smiled hearing Christmas agree to lunch, heading back inside and getting a freind to cover her shift before heading to the locker room and changing into some light colored jeans that did wonders for her small curves and a light gray tee shirt that fit her like a glove with just a deep enough V for a peek but not the whole show. Letting her hair wear down with very little make up as usual as she got in her car and drove to the location. Ariving and waiting out front for Christmas not sure where this little spot was exactly, texting Kevin that things where going well, and then turning off her phone so she would be able to give Christmas her full attention.

Newt scanned over the empty area, seeing a girl who looked exactly like the one in the picture Christmas had given him. Grabbing his hemp backpack and skateboard, he rolled over to her with a big smile on his face before speaking. "Hey! You must be Roxy! Awesome, okay. Christmas said you'd need a guide to where she is meeting you, she doesn't want to hike back down. Follow me!" He said with a gesture for her to follow him, leading her away from the trails a little before turning back to her. "Sorry, babe. This might hurt." He said before punching her right in the face, knocking her unconscious before gently tossing her over his shoulder. Taking her back to his car, he put tape over her mouth and laid her down carefully in the trunk.
A few hours later, he had driven to his hideaway house, the one place he called his sanctuary. It wasn't much, but it was home to him nonetheless. Laying Roxy on the bed before handcuffing her to the post, he straightened up the room before spreading out the things he had bought for her to use. Newt knew she was probably going to be with him for a little while, and wanted to make sure that she was at least taken care of while she was with him. Getting settled in, he turned on the television before propping his feet on the glass coffee table. Opening a beer, he awaited her screams of fear and anger when she realized he had kidnapped her. Sending a text to Christmas, using their code word to show Roxy had been taken, he leaned back and waited for the excitement.
Christmas smiled as she read the secret word, wanting more than anything to rush to Kevin but knew that he would ask if she had seen Roxy. Knocking on Kevin's door, she rubbed her eyes to make them look red before he opened the door. "Hey. Before you say anything, I wanted to come and apologize to you since things took a turn today. I know I left without saying goodbye to Roxy, but she didn't have to pretend she was going to come see me. She stood me up, so I thought I would stop by with some dinner instead." She said as she saw the worried look on Kevin's face, smiling on the inside as she heard him speak of how Roxy never came home. "What? Kevin was shocked and worried to her that Roxy never made it to lunch either his freind, nodding softly as he opened the door for Chris. "Ya ya come on in. I'll call her she might have gotten pulled into surgery or something last minute. Those go on for hours." He explained taking out his phone and sat down on the couch hearing Roxy's voice mail and sighing as he left her a quick message to call him back as soon as she could. "I'm sure she didn't mean to stand you up, she's usually pretty good at being on time. She's a doctor she kinda has to be on time... it's not like her to just disappear like that....." he said, feeling more and more worried.
Roxy woke up in the bedroom, looking around as she tried to reach for her head which was killing her but found her hands cuffed to the bed she was laying on. Panic started to set in, but she knew she had to keep her head if she was going to get out of this. Looking back at her hands, Roxy bit her lip as she banged them on theframe, hitting it just right so she could dislocate her thumb, whimpering softly as she did cuz fuck that hurt, but then taking advantage of the situation and slipping her hand out of the handcuffs and started looking for something to pick the lock with as she popped her the frame humble back into plqce. Trying to be fast so whoever had her here wouldn't find out what she was doing.

Newt remained silent, listening to Roxy rustling around in the room. Smiling, he took another drink of his beer before shouting loud enough for her to hear, knowing well that once she left the house she would regret it. "Just because you got out doesn't mean you want to continue, you'll wish you stayed in the house when you see what's outside." He said before standing up, opening the door to the rather small room he had put her in. The room began to sway, the floor beneath them rocking back and forth. "Hope you have sea legs, sweetheart." Newt grinned before heading up on deck, his father's boat being the one place no one really knew about. He had driven Roxy to the coast, and was now rather far from land. But, Newt was a very experienced sailor, so he never had anything to worry about. Seeing Roxy emerge on deck, he saluted her before smiling as he steered the boat; the sun in his eyes and his long hair flowing in the wind.
"Sorry about knocking the shit out of you, I'm not used to hitting women. I just forgot my chloroform, and didn't want to make some big deal out of it. You know how it goes, don't you, doctor? You ever just have to smack the hell out of a bitch to sedate her? Or are you all proper?" He teased, tossing her a beer before continuing to steer.
Christmas sat on the couch, a hidden smiling restraining itself from crossing her lips. "That's probably it, Kevvie. She is probably saving a life, and can't break away to let us know she is okay. I'm sure she will as soon as she can, but in the meantime, why don't we eat? Or are you going to tell me she would want you to starve?" Christmas smiled as she handed him the dinner she had made, having always made him food before when he was too busy to make it himself. Pouring herself a glass of wine, she sat at the island before sipping it slowly. "So, you're serious about this whole wedding thing, huh? You really think that this girl is the one? That she really makes you happy? There isn't anyone else?" She asked, hoping to hear that she was somehow special to him, other than being his best friend and the person he came to with relationship problems. She had loved him longer than any of the other girls he had brought home, and was always right when they weren't good women. But, this time she was afraid that Kevin had really found someone else who actually loved him as much as she did, and she didn't want to admit that it frightened her. "I mean, don't you think that marrying someone after only a few months, as opposed to a few years, is jumping the gun a little?"
