Felix

"Sou~bi!"

Felix called from the kitchen, a large smile on his face as he grabbed the various items he had gathered on the counter and stuffed them in a plastic bag. The rest of the kitchen was a mess, of course, since it was Felix hanging around, rummaging through the drawers and cupboards. There were lots of pots and pans on the counters, some empty packages of snacks on the floor (hey, Felix got hungry in this preparation!) and a burning smell from him nearly burning chocolate on the stove. Felix had banned Soubi from the kitchen - and from the bedroom, actually - specifically so that he could prepare for tonight - Valentine's Day. Felix was 100% certain that Soubi had never experienced a proper one, and it had been a long time since Felix could say he was excited for the celebration. He wanted a nice, fun, romantic night that would of course, have he and Soubi in such a wonderful ecstasy.

"Sou~bi!" Felix called again, grabbing his bag of goodies and looking around the house for the man. "Where are you? I've got a surprise~!" Felix said, a grin on his face. He was going to make this the perfect night that Soubi wouldn't forget.

Derek smiled heading up the stairs, he had been working hard since morning light so he would be completely free for tonight. It was a special day after all, Derek having been working on his plans for tonight for over a month now, and he really couldn't wait for Bassy to enjoy it all. Reaching their bedroom door, Derek looked at his watch and smiled.

Right on time.

He's in for the surprise of his life

Derek thought to himself, before knocking on the door, blue viloets in hand, a fancy custom made suit on. He wasn't one for suits, he never wore them, it was always some kind of shirt and some jeans. So already he was so far out of his comfort zone, but for Bassy it was worth it. He would put on a million monkey suits to see him smile. Glancing down at the flowers in his hand, his thoughts went back tot he last time he had tried to bring Bassy flowers, it hadn't been the greatest but this time he knew, he just knew that tonight was going to be one he would never forget as long as they both shall live. Seeing the door open Derek smiled hiding his face behind the flowers, wishing he could see his lover's face though.

"Guess who?"

Keith

Keith sighed, he was nervous. He had never really spent a valentine's day with anyone before, and now here he was dating someone, a guy to boot. But what could he say, he just couldn't find a way to stay way from his childhood friend once he showed his feelings to him. It had taken some time, as anyone could guess but things were settled now, they were together. Could you call it love? Maybe, but it had not been really spoken just yet.

Yet..

Would he ever be that strong?

Well seemed like he would be finding out that answer soon.

Calling the boy on his mind, Keith waited with baited breath as he stood in his apartment, seeing the clothes all over the floor, from him trying to figure what in the world he would even wear on a date with another guy. It wasn't lie he didn't like days, his mama and Dad were gay after all. But it was just different and he didn't like be anymore different than he already was. But even he had to admit there was just something there between them. Something that Keith had never had before and though it scared the shit out of him, he knew that he would be stupid to try and ignore it. Hearing Lucas pick up Keith smiled softly.

"Hey you free, wanna go out with me tonight?"

~Kris~

"Oh, yes."

Kris' green eyes widened and his smile grew as he looked at the car in the display case in front of him. It was absolutely perfect, one of the sexiest damn things he had ever seen in his life. A Ferrari, sleek black on the outside, red leather seats inside with the same colour under the silver wheels. Best on the market right now; expensive as fuck but of course Kris could afford it. After all, he was stinking rich.

"That one is perfect. I want to drive it out right now." Kris said, taking out his wallet.

"Wonderful sir! That'll be-"

"Ah-ah!" Kris said, interrupting the man and handing over his credit card. "They say if you need to know the price, then you ain't rich enough to afford it. And trust me when I say I can afford it." Kris told him, watching with a smirk as the man ran off to get the purchase through.

Today was going to be great. Kris had planned everything to a tee, knowing he might be going a bit overboard but totally not caring. This was the day he was going to remind Cody of just how much he loved him, wanting to show how much he cared about the man he had been obsessed with since day one. He had many plans of course, back-up plans even just in case something didn't go the right way, and now he had the right car to get them wherever he wanted to go.

And hopefully, hopefully Kris wouldn't have to fight Cody to get into the goddamn bed.

After the purchase was done and Kris was in his car, he immediately revved it up and sped out of the dealership. This car was fast as fuck and with the top down Kris could barely see anything with how his vision was shaking from the wind hitting him at such a high speed, but he loved every second. Fast cars were his obsession, next to Cody.

He got to the mansion in record time, not turning off the engine just yet but parking to the side. Picking up his phone, Kris smirked, sending a message to the blonde-haired man he knew was in the house.

So. You should know what day it is today. I crossed out the days on the calendar I got you when I snuck into your room yesterday. So you should know that I’m waiting for you.

Kris chuckled and sent the text, knowing that Cody wasn't going to be happy but whatever; it was Valentine's Day, and Kris wanted to show Cody just how much he could love him.

Micah

"Fuck me."

Micah as he wiped some sweat from his brow, pushing a large tv stand into the room where Azure and his new tank were. Thinking it was valentine's day after all, they should spend it together, they couldn't really go out to eat some place but hey who ever said a night in was a bad thing? Besides if they went to some kind of food place, Micah just might go broke from feeding the merman. Having no idea where in the world he put it all really.

He just ate SO much.

Micah having planned for that as well and having ordered a of food to the house, thinking that if he did weigh it, it could very well be close to a ton of food. But Azure's happiness was worth it, Micah was just thankful he had his own gym or he might be close to a whale by now from eating so much with the merman. Entering the room with the tv and food in tow, Micah looked around the green eyed man. "Azure, hey come on out." he called out, setting up the TV and food for the two of them to use, having even brought in a couch before so they could have a nice place to sit and watch the movies he had brought. Of course they were all about mermaids, he was still Micah after all.

~Nico~

"Hey! Rufus! You got everything set?"

The large man nodded and Nico smirked in response, indicating to some of his workers to dump it all in the boot of his car. Today had been a good day, he loved breaking hearts on Valentine's day and he always did. So many idiots thinking they were worthy of his time, as if it wasn't precious because it damn was; Nico had shit to do, man. He didn't want it wasted on people he wasn't going to care about the next day.

Plus, seeing all those men crying over their heartache over Nico ripping their confessions and offers of sex and love into shreds never got old.

That being said, this year there was another factor that made him reject everyone that threw themselves his way.

Jack.

The neko had really grown on him. Nico didn't know why but he found himself actually not minding the neko's company, even though his clingy nature could get very annoying at times. Still, Jack was the one who had his heart this Valentine's day. Had had his heart for a long time before. Nico just didn't like admitting it very much.

"Alright, where's the damn kitten? Jack! Come here!" Nico called, knowing that as soon as the Neko heard his master's voice he'd be down in an instant.

Soubi

Soubi was in the living room on the couch reading when he heard Felix calling for him, he had been bared from the kitchen and bedroom so safe to say he was more than nervous what the heck Felix was up to today. IT was just about killing him to hear all the clatter from the kitchen, knowing that as per usual Felix was making a huge mess."I'm in here, where else would I be?"He called out to the man, putting his book down as he heard the man mention a surprise."What you have another brother we didn't know about?"He asked him looking over and seeing a date marked on the calender.

Feb 14th

Of course... Soubi hated the day, not for the reasons one might think, but for one very big one.

It was also the date of his birthday.

A day he would rather forget all together.

It brought with it too many memories with it.

It would be best if the day never existed to begin with.

Sighing Soubi quickly put two and two together, of course Felix would go out of his way for today, well he didn't know it was his birthday, but they were in love with one another and today was that day that everyone did crazy tings to show their loved ones how much they cared.

It couldn't be helped.

He would have to put on a happy face.

♥ Sebastian ♥

Sebastian watched the clock in his and Derek’s room, Brat in his arms as he waited for his love to come home. He knew that today was Valentines’ day, but wasn’t sure if Derek would be particularly interested in ‘celebrating’ it with him. Well, Derek would always be interested in him that’s for sure but he did that any day of the week. Valentine’s Day was probably not going to be special.

Though it would be nice. Sebastian hadn’t really had someone to spend that time with before, not even with the people he used to fuck with back in the day. Each to their own, he supposed. Still, that hadn’t stopped Sebastian from baking up a storm in the kitchen, hoping to surprise Derek when the man came back from work today. At least they might be able to have a nice night in.

When there was a knocking on the door Sebastian put Brat down on the cough and practically leapt up, a huge smile on his face. Finally. It got so lonely without Derek, even if he did have Brat. Lord knew where the twins were – hopefully not causing trouble, those damn brats – so Sebastian had to distract himself as best as he could when he was by himself all day.

Opening the door, Sebastian was ready to welcome him into their room when he stopped short, his mouth frozen with an unsaid greeting at what he saw. Derek was dressed to the fucking nines in an amazing suit, Sebastian didn’t think he had ever seen the man wear something like that before. In his hands was a bouquet of blue violets, Sebastian’s favourite flowers, hiding a smiling Derek’s face as the man greeted him.

“F-fuck.”

Sebastian was struck speechless, a huge smile breaking out on his face as he took the flower and held them to his chest. He hadn’t been expecting Derek to do anything for Valentine’s day but shit, here the man was looking like he was ready to take Sebastian out. It had the man’s heart racing as he pulled Derek close to him, planting a kiss on the other’s lips while giving him a hug, wrapping his arms around the taller’s neck. “I’m stunned. Derek, you look so good. And the flowers are beautiful, thank you.” Sebastian told him, smelling the bouquet in his hands. Glancing again at Derek’s attire, Sebastian looked up at him, a light dusting of pink on his cheeks. He was wearing extremely casual clothing in comparison, a t-shirt and sweatpants.

“U-um… are we going somewhere?” Sebastian asked curiously, wondering what the hell Derek had planned for the evening.

Cody

Cody rolled over in his bed hearing his phone go off, no one really ever called or texted him.

Except for this fucker.

Rolling his eyes at the text, Cody sat up in in the bed running a hand through his blonde hair as he did. He thought about just staying in his room, locking the door but he knew that Kris would very well come and make him join him. And Cody really wasn't in the mood to let Derek know that he was...well.... having sex with his 18 year old son, someone who Cody was old enough to be his father, and someone who always managed to top him to boot. Getting up from the bed, Cody didn't bother changing clothes, and headed down stairs in a large shirt and some sweat pants. it wasn't a date after all.

It was a fricking obligation at this point.

For some reason he never could tell the kid no.

And Kris knew that very very well, and often took that as a yes.

He really was his father's son.

Heading outside, Cody made his way over to the only car he could see Kris driving, everything about the man screamed rich brat after or at least to Cody who had never ever drempt of having a fraction as much money as he did. Though it did look good on Kris, Cody had o admit he couldn't see the man in any other lifestyle at this point."Alright Kid you got me out here now what, I got shit to do."He lied, he really didn't have any plans to speak of, but he wasn't going to tell Kris that of course. The kid was already much too cocky with him as it was, he really couldn't let his head get any bigger or he'd never get any peace.

Not that he was getting much now anyways.

♥ Lucas ♥

Lucas really didn’t want to be in the house today.

His stupid brother had been running around all morning like some excited puppy getting things ready for him and Soubi’s night together – ew, by the way, just thinking of his brother having sex with someone making Lucas want to gag – and Lucas was going to go insane as a result. He, like Soubi, had been banned from the kitchen so that Felix could make whatever mess he had in mind, and now he was just waiting to leave the house.

He just needed that call.

Damn, Keith was keeping him waiting. Ever the patient man he was, though Lucas loved him for it even though it kept him waiting.

Love.

Lucas was pretty sure he loved Keith. He didn’t know for sure, but he had never ever had feelings so strong for anyone before. Talking about it with Soubi and eventually Felix – when Lucas felt like he needed extra help deciphering his own mind – Lucas came to the conclusion that yes, he did like Keith a lot more than friends should.

But love?

That was a strong word.

And Lucas didn’t know whether it was that yet.

“…maybe I should just say it first…” Lucas said to himself before burying his face into his pillow and groaning. He would have to do it, wouldn’t he? If it was love. At least then maybe he’d feel as if he was the one wearing the damn pants in this whatever-ship they had.

Lucas was just about to run out of the house after hearing Felix call for Soubi in what he knew was a tone of voice saved only for the long haired man, his phone rang. Lucas answered it in a heartbeat after seeing the name on the screen, smiling to himself as Keith asked him if he wanted to go out. “Hey Keith. Yeah! I’d lo-uh, like to go out with you, of course!” Lucas said into the phone, wanting to mentally slap himself for how hard he was finding it to goddamn say that stupid “L” word. “You want to come pick me up or shall I go to yours?”

Jack

Jack was laying bed, the one he shared with Nico, watching tv. Something he did often to help past the lonely hours that his master was away from him. Though today hadn't been to boring, every channel was buzzing with news of Valentine's day. Something Jack had heard of in the pet shop, owners really liked to buy Nekos on that day, or would come and get some gifts for the ones they already owned. But it had slipped is mind that it was also a day for lovers. While Nico never told him what he told him all the time, Jack knew he was loved by the man no matter what, and that he loved him too.

He just knew it.

Sitting up in the bed as he heard a door open in the large house, Jack's ears twitched. Could it be? Was Nico home at last? A huge smile breaking out on his face as he heard him call his name. Heading out of the bedroom and leaning over the railing to see it really was Nico who was calling him."You're home!"He called out to him, running down the stairs excited to the man as he always was, but even more on a day like today. In his excitement Jack missed the bottom step and ended up tripping, though luckily he was close enough to Nico that he was able to land in his arms, the large strong ones that always felt so nice around him."Happy Valentine's day Master Nico!"He told him, hugging the man tightly, not even bothering to try and stand up by himself, as he wrapped his short legs around the man, purring softly as he kept holding on to him.

God he was happy he was home at last.

♥Azure ♥

Azure watched from his large tank as Micah brought in the TV to their room, swimming around lazily in the water. “Isn’t that my line?” Azure said at the words Micah swore as he worked, giving the man an innocent look before swimming backwards behind one of the large rocks in the tank, knowing he hadn’t been seen since the other was busy bringing in that huge TV. Azure’s ‘home’ now was much more comfortable that it had ever been with Mister Richard. For one, Micah had tanks and waterways in nearly all the rooms, so Azure was never stuck in that horrible trophy room that had been his place for years and years. He could swim as he liked, and his tanks were spacious and wonderful, decorated with coral and seaweed and rocks and even small creatures that were exactly what one would find in Azure’s real home in the Reef.

For two, obviously, Azure liked Micah. It certainly helped when you actually liked the man you had to spend your every day with and weren’t forced into anything.

Hearing Micah call him to come out, Azure swam out from behind his rock, giving the other a smile. “You look wetter than me.” Azure told him, smooshing his finger against the glass in his tank to point at Micah’s forehead. He laughed lightly before swimming up to the top of his tank – no more glass to lock him in anymore. He felt free, oddly enough, even though he wasn’t in the ocean anymore.

Azure slid down the slide Micah had set up for him, stopping right where the serum to turn him human was, next to a towel and some clothes. He couldn’t exactly walk around naked, and when he wasn’t in the water Azure got cold pretty easily. Taking a sip, Azure felt the change within him, making him feel a little nauseous as usual. He watched as his long tail separated into two scaly legs, which eventually faded into skin.

Drying himself off with a towel and then covering his lower parts – because apparently it wasn’t nice to walk around naked, even though he ended up that way a lot with Micah – Azure got dressed and held onto the man’s arm as he walked on shaky legs to the couch the man had set up. He still wasn’t used to walking around like a human until after a few minutes in this form.

“Okay, so, explain it to me again. Today is… Val-en-teens day. And it’s a day you show your love to someone right?” Azure asked, gripping tightly onto Micah’s hand, afraid he’d fall.

Derek

Once Bassy had changed and they were in car, Derek took off down the road, holding on tight to Bassy's hand as he did."The twins are out doing their own thing, but I wanted to make sure it was just the two of us tonight. No work calls, no one in the family even knows where we are going. I got us a very private room at this place down town. It just us tonight, the rest of the world doesn't matter."He told him giving his hand a tight seeze, over time it had become second nature for him to so open and honest with the man like he was now, one thing time could never change.

That feeling he had when he looked at that perfect face of his.

Like fireworks going off inside his chest on Christmas morning everyday.

Even with that disapproving glare when he made comments.

The angry eyebrows looking down at him.

All of his little jabs.

Arriving at the building Derek got out and opened the car door for Bassy, and lead him inside. The whole place was empty save for some wait staff, and a very large band playing older music as the two entered. Derek having always been a fan of music rom the 60s and 70s sharing that same taste with his father who the one that showed that world of music to him as a child."Its perfect thank you. Come on lets get some food ordered we have all night."Derek said thanking the person in charge and leading Bassy over to the only table in the sim lighted room, there being million of fairy lights all over, complete with lighted candles on the table where they were sitting. Derek had pulled out all the stops, nothing was too good for Bassy after all.

Keith

"I'll come and get you, I got a place I wanna take you to. I'll be there in 5 meet you out front."Keith told Lucas, happy to hear he was wanting to go out with him today, getting his shoes on before heading down the stairs and waving goodbye to Ted who was still running the old flower shop as he had when Derek and Bassy had first met and lived there for a short time. Ted stopping him and handing him a single red rose with a wink, Keith giving the man a smile as he ran out to the car and got inside. The boy drove like a mad man, and maybe it was because he was. So when he said 5 minutes he meant 5 minutes.

Arriving outside of Lucas's house, Keith laid on his horn, wanting to get the man in his car already. He wasn't one for flash like his brother and his father, he drove a simple, older, sort of beat up truck. Under the radar as always that was Keith's style for sure. Seeing Lucas get in the car, Keith handed him the rose, without a word, this whole romance thing scared the utter crap out of him but hey tis the season right? Thinking today would be a good day for him to put his feelings into words for the man next to him, wondering just how he might do that. He was never really on for words in the first place, and now it was just even worst it seemed. Lucas made him feel so good, but at the same time so nervous and almost naked in front of him. The man always seeming to know just what to say or do, able to tell Keith's feeling before eve he did."Alright, hope you like water."He said pulling out of the drive way, making sure to drive a little less crazy with Lucas in the car, hearing what happened to the boy's parents he felt he had to really. Seemed like he was always taking Lucas's feeling into account before he did anything.

Yes Lucas scared the hell out of him.

But also, made him feel alive for the first time in his life.

Felix smiled brightly at Soubi, grabbing the man’s hand when he found him in the living room and kissing the back of it softly. His bright blue eyes sparkled down at Soubi, clearly showing his excitement for the night.

Oh gosh he really hoped Soubi would enjoy the night as well. “I don’t think I’d be able to handle having another sibling. Lucas is enough as it is.”

“I heard that! And I’m leaving, spending some time with Keith tonight.” Lucas called from the other room, the front door closing soon after. Felix rolled his eyes, pulling Soubi with him to the bedroom. “And then there were two. Come on Sou, I can’t wait to show you what I did for tonight. Oh! You have to close your eyes okay? Don’t open them yet!” Felix said excitedly, slowly leading Soubi inside their bedroom and closing the door behind them. It didn’t matter that they were the only two in the house right now – it was just more intimate this way.

“Keep them closed for just a little while longer, please.” Felix said, opening his bag of stuff and grabbing some items. With a lighter, he lit the various candles in the room, scents of vanilla, cinnamon, honey, other sweet spices filling the space. They all blended together well, and it gave off a very relaxed vibe to the room, now candlelit and – hopefully – romantic.

“Okay. You can open now.” Felix said softly, standing next to Soubi, wondering what the other would think of everything. “Happy Valentine’s Day, baby.” Felix said, kissing Soubi’s cheek, hands reaching for the man’s clothes. “You’ve never celebrated this before have you? Is it your first? I want to make it really special for you, but first we both need to get naked.” Felix said cheekily, beginning to strip Soubi’s clothes off him. Slowly, there was no rush. It was supposed to be a nice, romantic evening after all. With every item of clothing that was taken off, Felix bent down to give Soubi a deep, passionate kiss before resuming his work of stripping the man, putting his clothes away to the side. He smiled at Soubi, kissing his lips again. “You do me now.” Felix told him, guiding Soubi’s hands to the buttons of his own shirt.

Kris’ eyes lit up when he saw Cody. The man was totally unprepared for going out but Kris expected as much, knowing how Cody did whatever he could to deter him away.

It never worked though. Kris knew that he was irresistible~

Or rather, he was just too hard to say no to because he made it hard. Oops.

But whatever, Cody knew by now just how much Kris cared for him so it was only natural he wasn’t going to leave the blonde-haired man alone.

“First, come here. I’ve got this awesome ride and you’re not even inside yet.” Kris said, leaning over the car and pulling Cody inside. He was much stronger than the other, and bigger too, so it was relatively easy to have Cody nestled in the passenger seat before long. He smirked at Cody, bending to give him a quick peck on the lips before settling back into the driver's seat.

“Second, you do not have shit to do today. I’ve been reminding you about today for weeks, so you’re very well prepared to spend every waking and sleeping moment with me.” Giving Cody a cheeky smile, Kris put his blinker on and peeled out onto the street, going slower than before but still fast enough to give him that thrill he loved. “I’ve got a whole day planned for us but if you have something else in mind you let me know. And no, I will not accept ‘going home’ as an answer. If not, then put some tunes, relax, and let me take you to paradise. Hey! Guess! Guess what we’re doing today! I mean, I’m doing you later but what are we gonna do together now!?”

♥ Nico ♥

Nico rolled his eyes as he saw Jack smile and call down to him from the top of the stairs but his lips twitched upward. That stupid cat brightened up the damn room, and it definitely had rubbed off on him that’s for sure. The time with Jack seemed to soften his heart, which was weird since the only person Nico really liked was himself. Sometimes he couldn’t even handle his staff members, opting to just fire and rehire as he pleased.

But Jack of course, was different. Though he had been purchased as a joke, the damn cat had pounced his way into Nico’s heart. Nico didn’t tell him that enough though, which is why today was going to be nice and special for the two of them.

When Jack bounded down the stairs and fell, Nico caught him immediately, steadying himself so that he could hold the other up. “Calm down you crazy felin- hey! Get off me!” Nico groaned as Jack wrapped his arms around him, clinging on like some sort of monkey. God damnit. Jack’s attachment to him was always going to shock him, if he was being honest, but Nico smiled anyway, reaching up to pet Jack’s hair, loving the sound of his purring. “Yeah, yeah. Happy Valentine’s day to you too.” Nico said, holding Jack securely by his bottom, watching the neko’s tail swish happily behind him.

Turning to Rufus, Nico nodded. “Alright, the car is ready? Good. I want you to take us to the pet store first.” Nico turned to Jack, scratching behind the neko’s ears. “Unless you want to walk there. It’s not far and you’ve been cooped up inside for a little while. Go grab me your leash. I’m picking something up from there for you, and you need to help me out.” Nico told Jack, trying to pry the neko off him.

Jack looked up at Nico slightly confused wondering what in the world he was going to get that he need Jack to go with him. Jack shaking his head at hearing Nico tell him to let go, fat chance. It felt like he rarely ever got to spend time with Nico with how busy he had been, now that he had him and it was a day to show the one you loved how much you loved them Jack was taking Nico's time for all it was worth."No I don't want to let go, carry me please?"he asked him, nuzzling him as he felt Nico's large hands scratch behind his ears. Nico wasn't the kind of man who gave affection so easily, so often Jack had to almost beg him to something as simple as a pat on the head, but he had been getting more and more open with those touches that Jack treasured. Today was special Jack wanted to make sure it was a day he and Nico would remember forever.

Cody gasped feeling Kris pull him inside the car, of course Kris would pull a move like that. Seemed like the only moves he knew were forceful and of course cocky as fuck.

There really was no other better way to describe him in Cody's mind.

"Hey whats the big idea, I keep telling you kids should respect their elders."He told him but knew that if the day ever came that Kris treated him as he should Cody just might kill over from the shock of it all. Even as a child Kris always ha a way of doing whatever he wanted when it came to Cody something that only bothered Cody more and more as the years pasted. He was so much older for fuck's sake, and Kris was just [I[barely[/I] an adult. Luckily Kris has been able to hold off on showing Cody this kind of affection till he was 18 but still, it was the day of the kid's birthday that their relationship changed. Though they had always been close, Cody had never really thought that the wide eyed kid who used to follow him around would ever be the cocky son of a bitch sitting next to him now.

Feeling Kris kiss him, Cody moved as far away as he could from the man, they were still at the house and anyone could see them at any moment, and Cody already had 2 strikes on his back, one more and he was going to be out flat on his ass that much was sure. And sleeping with the boss's son was for sure a huge black strike on his record. "First, what the fuck do you think you are doing pulling that shit here, if someone saw us I'd be out of here so fast and your father would probably lock you up till its time for you to take over the family. Second, I do have plans thank you very much, a couple friends invited me to a black hearts party downtown tonight. I was sleeping so I could be able to stay up all night with them."Cody told him, placing his seat belt on, it wasn't a lie per say he had been invited out tonight but he knew there would be many chances to get high there and after hitting a year of being clean it was best not to tempt fate. Plus if he did get high with the way Kris and he were now he was sure then he really would never be left alone.

He had to hand it to the kid though.

He did keep his promise about helping Cody stay clean.

Was that why it was so hard to tell the boy no?

♥ Sebastian ♥

Squeezing Derek’s hand tightly in the car, Sebastian glanced out of the window with wide eyes wondering where his lover was taking him. He knew nothing of where they were going. Hadn’t even expected Derek to have planned something – after all they had already had many Valentine’s Days together, but their spark had never died down no matter how they spent the day. It was always there, filling Sebastian with a wonderful warmth and feeling of love every time he looked at the man he was proud and happy to call his partner. They’d been together for so many years now.

And Sebastian’s love for Derek was still as strong as the day he admitted it all those years ago. Back when Derek had taken him for the first time, when they were lying together in bed and the man had said he loved him while Sebastian was held in the strong arms that had protected him since.

Fiddling with the pocket of his suit, Sebastian smiled down at one of the blue violets he had pinned there before leaving the house. Even after all these years, Derek still reminded him of flowers. And he still remembered what Sebastian’s favourite flower was, and it had the smaller man absolutely swelling with happiness.

Hearing Derek talk about today, how there were no interruptions, Sebastian’s heart swelled. “Just us… that sounds perfect.” Sebastian said with a shy smile, having waited so long for a chance to be alone with Derek like this. Derek was working a lot having many responsibilities being the head of the family. A lot of the work was also for preparing for Kris too, so that if the time came for their son to take over it wouldn’t be too difficult.

Reaching the restaurant, Derek opened his car door and took him inside, Sebastian holding onto his arm and sucking in a breath when they entered.

It was stunning. A huge room, with only one table decorated with small lights, and a band playing in the background. It looked so perfect, the light was dimmed and the entire room gave off a very romantic setting. A deep blush coloured his face when Sebastian was lead to the table by Derek. “H-hey! W-why do I get the feeling you’re treating me like a woman!?” Sebastian glared at him, face pink as he lightly hit Derek’s arm with his free hand, the other tightly holding onto the man. Fucking hell the joke that he was the 'mother' in the family had been going on for too damn long. Even the twins still called him "mama" at eighteen years old, and of course Derek was happy to smirk and continue the trend.

Stupid bastard. Why did Sebastian love him so much?

God he was so happy that it was just the two of them and the staff; Sebastian was feeling so embarrassed by how romantic this setting was but he was also very, very happy. His heart was beating like crazy in his chest, swelling with warmth whenever he glanced at his partner from the top of his glasses.

“S-so selfish, booking out an entire restaurant.” Sebastian said as he sat down in his chair, watching as his and Derek’s glasses were filed with champagne. “H-how the hell did you get the entire room here? Do you know how many people come here on Valentine's day? You've basically driven them out, where are other couples going to go? F-fuck, Derek…” Sebastian bit his lip as a menu was placed in front of him, glancing away with a blush on his face. “W-why would you go through so much trouble for me?” Sebastian said quietly. He hadn’t done anything extremely special for today, and he also didn’t do much at home too. Derek was the one working and putting his life on the line for Sebastian and the family. Was Sebastian even worth all this trouble after all these years?

♥ Lucas ♥

When Lucas heard the car beep outside he burst from the house, excited to meet up with Keith but also wanting to shake off the thought of Felix and Soubi doing lord knows what in the bedroom today. Sure he was glad the two loved each other – he remembered the ups and downs that had been their relationship years ago – but did they have to be so affectionate when he was around? Especially his stupid brother, who loved to get his hands on Soubi no matter what time of the day it was.

Horny bastard. Lucas would honestly feel sorry for Soubi, but he knew the man loved his brother so there was really nothing to be sorry for.

Seeing Keith’s older truck, a bright smile fell on Lucas face as he hopped in, buckling up immediately and turning to speak to his old childhood friend-

When a red rose was given to him, anything Lucas was about to say got caught in his throat. Blushing, he took the rose from Keith and said a soft thank you before holding it close to his chest. Shit. Every time he felt it was time to step up and take charge in their whatever-ship, every time Lucas wanted to be a little more assertive or aggressive, Keith did or said something that had him red in the face. It really wasn’t fair, but at the same time Lucas loved those little things, knowing how hard it was for Keith to show his affection and appreciating every bit he got.

When Keith said they were going to do something with water today Lucas nodded, tensing in his seat as the car pulled out to the road. God he hated being in a car. He hated being in any vehicle. He even stopped taking the bus to school when he was younger because of how fast and scary the bus driver was.“Y-yeah I like the water, but I’m happy to go anywhere as long as it’s with you.” Lucas told Keith, twirling the rose in his hands. “I’m glad you called me to go out today. I haven’t seen you in a while. How have you been?” Lucas asked, lightly resting a hand on the other’s thigh.
