Jack

"Wake up, time to get the place ready for costumers!" the shop owner called, Jack rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he sat up in the small cot at the back of the storage room in the store. The store owner having moved him back there a few months before to make room in the display rooms for the Nekos that still had a chance to find homes. Jack was well past his prime for that, something that the store owner Ted and the other's in the store would never let him forget. He didn't let it get him down though he knew someday he would find a home, and until then the store owner was nice enough to let him stay there as long as he did good work. Jack having been working his hardest to make things easier on the man, not just due to the fact that if he didn't he would be out on the streets, but he also just wanted to prove that even though he was plain looking and dull he could see be a good pet.

Hoping that maybe if someone came into the store and saw how hard he was working they would see that he was just as good as any other Neko in the place. Getting up and stretching with a small yawn before heading into the main part of the store, Jack kept a smile on his face knowing that it was the only thing that could maybe make his plain features stand out in the sea of blue, pink, and green haired others in the place. Grabbing a broom and getting started on sweeping, keeping an ear open for the bell telling that someone was there looking for a pet.

Will today be the day I get a home like everyone else?

NICHOLAS

"What a loser, ahaha. Kick him again."

"Yes boss."

Nicolas smirked at the man on the floor, listening to his screams as one of his underlings did as he was told and kicked the shit out of him. The man begging him to stop, to spare him, said he'd do anything for Nicholas to make up for his actions, but of course Nicholas was having none of that. He watched with that smirk before giving the sign to his men - a thumbs down - too off the sucker on the floor. And they did, shooting him right in the chest until his screaming stopped.

"That's what you get for trying to get in on my territory, bitch. Your body is an example to your friends. Let's go." Nicholas said, snapping his fingers together so that his two bodyguards - Blaine and Rufus - would follow him. The day was so young but he had already accomplished so much, marking his territory to insignificant worms who thought they could take over just because he was young. he was going to show them all that Nicholas Spartan was not to be messed with.

Walking in the town, Nicholas spotted a Neko shop, having passed by it so many times but never buying anything. Since he was in such a good mood today after offing someone so early, Niko supposed he would reward himself by buying one of these hybrids for himself. Walking into the store the man looked around, noticing all the pretty coloured furred Nekos that were on sale, some looking more exotic than others. He was thinking of buying a small thing but training would be a pain but they were all still kittens really. About to leave, Niko stopped, spotting one of the workers there - a very plain looking boy, black furred ears to match his hair and a black tail too.

"What a joke." Niko said with a laugh. This kid looked too old to be on sale, why was he working by cleaning when he'd be better off serving at someone's feet?

"Hey, owner, how much is this one?" Nico asked, pointing to the black haired Neko.

"Huh? Him?"

"Did I stutter?"

"N-No sir! Not at all!"

The owner told Niko how much the boy was and Niko indicated to his bodyguards, one of them handing him his wallet. He took out the money and gave it to the man, smirking at the boy. "You're mine now, kid. Better do a good job if you want to earn your keep back at my place. What's your name?" He asked.

Micah
Shit what a fucking dump..

Micah thought to himself as he stood outside of the large older mansion, thinking he had only been there once as a child. There had been a party of course and his grandfather and parents couldn't have cared less that he was even there. The man not even shedding one tear or feeling one shred of sadness at their passing. Taking out the key to the place and looking over the will that had been left to him, he had been able to sell off most of his grandfather's things but the house and everything in it had been left to him and he was under strict orders to not sell one piece.

And it pissed him off.

He hated his family why would he want to be surrounded by their things?

Entering the house, Micah was greeted by one of the many maids in the house, handing her his coat and heading deeper into the house. His grandfather's will being very clear that he was to take care of his collection of rare animals and plants or he could lose the money left to him. Seeing the large doors that lead to the room his grandfather was so proud of, having small memories of him gushing about it any and everyone that it held things that most people could only ever dream of seeing. Micah didn't really care about any of that but the money was nice and he was going to be staying in the house so he might as well see what all the fuss was about right?

Opening the doors, Micah reached over and turned on the bright lights, seeing a few things he knew. A tiger, bears, a lion, other exotic animals. But he stopped dead in his tracks seeing a large tank of water in the middle of the room. Wondering what the heck his grandfather would need that for. No one else knew it, but Micah had been scared of water since he was 5 and a "family" trip to the beach lead to him almost drowning if it hadn't been for the father of another family saving him. Walking over to the tank and looking at it in wonder, before tapping s knuckles on it.

What the hell was the old man keeping in here?

Jack

Was it really true?

Was someone really buying him?

After all this this time was he really going to have a home.

Watching as the red haired man paid real money for him, feeling like it all had to be a dream, it had to be. Looking up at the man as he spoke to him, telling him he was going to have to do a good job if he was going to stay at the man's place. His ears lowering as he looked at the floor. Puasing for a moment before pinching himself hard on the arm and yelping once he felt the pain.

It wasn't a dream.

He was going to his home at last.

Jack's ear's standing straight up as he looked back at the man giving him a wide smile. "My name is Jack, I'm happy to meet you Master." he told him, meaning every word. Seeing the two men that were with his new owner, wondering who they were and why did they have such scary looks on their faces? Looking back at his master Jack couldn't remove the smile from his face, he was just to damn happy to be wanted he almost didn't care if his new master was a nice one or not. At least he would be away from the store, and able to see a new part of the world having never set foot outside of the shop since he was born. "Are we going back to your home now?" he asked him in an excited tone, wanting to see where he would be living for, well the rest of his life.

The blue sky above him looked so beautiful and nice. There were birds chirping all around him, the sun's rays were warm against his wet skin as Azure broke the surface of the water. He smiled up at the sky before swimming to a nearby rock, holding onto it as his tail swished in the background. A school of fish swam by, their scales shining but not as nice as the ones on Azure's one, which glittered like diamonds when the sun hit it. The wind felt warm and beautiful on his skin, everything was perfect...

And then he opened his eyes.

In front of him was his reflection, seen through the glass of the tank that had been his home for years. Above him was the top of the tank, a large chunk of glass locked in place so that he couldn't escape and was only able to be opened from the outside, There was no sky, only ceiling. No fish, just fake coral and rocks. He was still trapped here.

He wasn't free at all.

Sighing, Azure curled up behind a large rock. It had been a little quiet these days, he didn't know where that man - the one he had to call 'master' was - but he was glad. He hated him so much, from the bottom of his heart, had done so for years. Azure hoped the bastard would never return, though he was starting to get hungry...

Suddenly the door to the room opened. Azure glared, hearing tapping on the glass, waiting for that sick voice to tell him to come out and play. The voice never came, which was odd, but Azure swam up anyway-

And was face to face with someone he didn't recognise.

Swimming backwards, Azure hit the other side of the glass, green eyes wide at the stranger. "W-who the hell are you!?" He asked, fear growing inside him, having known what it meant before when his master brought strangers into his secret location.

Nicholas

Nicholas laughed loudly, pointing to the Neko boy "Jack" with his thumbs. "You hear that? A plain name to go with plain fur." No wonder no-one wanted to buy this fucker. Looking at the smile on Jack's face, Nico rolled his eyes. The kid was going to get the shock of his life when he found out the head drug dealer of this city had been the one to buy him, this cruel-hearted person who played with people's lives for fun. He was going to play with this life too - the kid had a face that was asking to be contorted into pain.

The kid asked him if they were going home and Nico nodded, motioning to the owner of the shop to come to him. "Get me the most expensive collar and leash you've got in this place. Something flashy and fancy." He demanded, and immediately the owner ran off to the back. Smirking at the boy, Nico stepped forward reaching out to his ears. "Calling me Master straight-away, looks like you know your manners." Grabbing the top of one, Nico rubbed it slightly, wanting to feel how the fur felt. It was surprisingly softer than what he had been expecting. Nico hummed, moving his hand to hold the man's chin up so that he was looking directly into Nico's dark, unforgiving eyes. "We're going back to my place but you ain't walking. Where's the goddamn owner?"

"Here, sir! Right here!" The owner said, handing him a box. Having one of his bodyguards open it up, Nico whistled at the gleaming crystal studded collar with black leather, and a matching chain and lock. Taking out the collar, Nico flipped it over in his hands. "Pay him. Jack, turn around." Nico said. He placed it around the man's neck, clipping it in place and then putting the lock on, pocketing the key which would be the only way to take it out. Then he put on the leash and smirked at the boy. "Get on your knees. I like to show off my things when I buy them. I want people to know what belongs to me." Nico said, yanking a little on the leash.

Micah

Micah looked at the creature in the tank in puzzlement, hearing the rude being ask him who he was. "Shouldn't I be asking you that? So you're what my grandfather was so proud of in here." he told him, lighting a smoke as looked over the tank. A Mermaid huh? he thought to himself thinking it as a rather sad looking tank, didn't look like the ocean at all. "Either you don't know any better or my gramps was too stupid to know this thing is nothing close to how the real ocean." he told him, thinking it was probably his grandfather's fault.

"He's dead by the way, I'm his grandson Micah. I'm not shocked that he never mentioned me to you, or anyone really. He left me this place and everything inside of it. Guess I have some work cut out for me huh?" he told him thinking that this small, sad tank would not do. If anything it hurt Micah just to be looking at it, having gone to school and studied the ocean, part of a failed attempt to try and over come his fear of it.

"I'm guessing you haven't been fed right? Didn't seem like the maids even knew you were here. What do you eat?" he asked taking out his phone and dialing his assistant's number ready to have whatever the strange merman ate brought there not needing the poor thing to starve to death in his care.

Azure

Azure glared at the man in front of him, swimming a little bit closer in curiousity. He said "grandfather"... did that mean this man was the span of his disgusting master? Looking a little more closely at the man's face, Azure realised there were some features that were shared between his master, especially those golden eyes. "My name is Azure Holo. And I didn't ask to be here. Your bastard grandfather put me here, I've been stuck for years!" Banging on the glass in frustration, Azure stopped and his eyes widened when he heard the man tell him his grandfather was dead.

Dead?

A wide smile appeared on Azure's face. His tail swished excitedly behind him and he brought his face up closer to the glass. "Since he's dead that means I'm free right? You're here to get me out?" He had lost all hope of freedom years ago, but now it was starting to come back to him, the prospect of going back to the ocean he loved just in his reach.

When the man - Micah - said he hadn't been fed Azure nodded. "Only a few people know about me. The butler who brings my food hates me, he's probably starving me on purpose until your grandfather was supposed to come back!" Azure said with an angry sigh, pushing back off the glass and leaning on the rock. "I'm so hungry I'm gonna die! I need fish, just a raw or live one, he usually puts it in the tank through the lid." Azure told Micah, pointing to the top of his tank. The lid had a small hole in it that was also covered, to small for him to escape from, but enough for things like fish to be tossed into his tiny tank.

Jack

Jacked laughed softly hearing the man mention how his name matched his plainness. "Ya I guess that was part of the joke when they named me as a kitten." he said thinking it was a bit funny, that he had just a dull name. Watching as the shop owner rushed off with just a few words from the man thinking his master must have been an important one to be treated in such a way. Being to busy thinking that over that he didn't see the man reach out and touch his ear, Jack letting out a soft yelp at the sensation. No one had ever touched his ears before, or rather any part of him. His face growing red at the feeling, it felt different but it also felt good in a weird way as well. The feeling not stopping as the man's hands touched his chin, Jack closing his eyes at the feeling a soft purr coming out from being touched there.

What the heck was that."

He had never made a sound like that before, what was this man doing to him? Hearing him tell him that they were going home but not walking, Jack tilted his head to the side wondering just what that could have meant. Were they flying or something, Jack having always wondered what being in a plane would feel like, or were they driving he had seen tons of cars through the store window before but to ride in one would be a real treat.

Seeing Ted come back with a box and then seeing the collar and matching leash thinking his master really was nice for getting him such a thing. Listening to the man right away as he told him to get on his knees, looking down and trying to get a good look at his new collar.

Was it really just for him?

"Thank you I really like it Master." he told him, thinking that if this was how his life was going to be he was going to be very happy with the red haired man, even if he was sort of scary looking and said strange things, so far he had been like something out of a dream for the young Neko.

Smirking, Nico raised his eyes in amusement when he heard the kitten purr after he had grabbed his chin. His face was quick to turn red, just what Nico liked to see; a flustered little mess that would do exactly as he told him. The way this neko was acting was interesting too, yelping when Nico only touched the fur on his ears, and then letting that purr out so quickly. Nico had seen other hybrids who would hold back, refuse to purr to their masters, or having to have it drawn out. Jack had given it to him almost instantly. Was he that desperate to be acknowledged? Pitiful fuck, Nico hated people like him the most.

When Jack thanked him for the collar, Nico laughed loudly. "Goddamn, this kid for real?" Nico asked the owner, who merely nodded. He was going to have a really fun time playing with this one. Lighting up a smoke right there in the shop, Nico turned to his body guards. "What else we got to do today?"

"A meeting during the evening at the Gold Restaurant with Terry Feldman, the politician."

"That fucker probably going to try striking another deal. Keep it on for now, let's just get home to the mansion first. I wanna play with this one for a little bit." he said, pulling Jack's chain forward. "Come on Jackie, let's go. Ted, nice doing business with you. Guess your shop gets to stay open a little longer." Nico said, waving to the owner before exiting the shop, taking Jack out with him. "How old are you kid? Have you had any masters before me?"

Micah

Micah sighed softly hearing the man ask if he was going to be freed. "I'm afraid the bastard screwed us both. I'm not allowed to change his collection at all or I lose everything." he told him, feeling even more hatred to his grandfather. A goddamn lion was one thing, but this mermaid? Geez he was practically human almost, wasn't there some kind of law for this shit? Getting on the phone and hearing his assistant pick up, "Ya I need you to go to the pier and get me about a wheel barrow of fish, as fresh as you can get it, and while you're at it stop by my office grab some of my books from the ocean section, and some law books too while you are at it. And hurry I got a dying merman over here it seems." he told the man on the other line before hanging up.

"I can't let you go just yet, trying to find a way to get out of this contract. Once we do that I'll send you back, don't have any plans to keep all of this stuff if I don't have too. Until then we can at least get you some place decent to stay. That tank is embarrassing for me to look at. I studied Marine Biology for fucks sake, he could have asked for some types at least." he said taking a seat and sighing softly.

"So, no offence, but why did my grandfather want a freaking mermaid in here? Just because he could?" he asked thinking it was such an odd thing for someone to want to have really.

Jack understood now when Niko said he wouldn't be walking, though if it got him out of the store he was happy to crawl. I really wasn't so bad, looking at the outside world in awe as he breathed in the fresh air never having smelt it before. Watching as people walked pass, and cars zoomed on the street, it was enough to make the Neko's head spin really. Hearing his master ask him his age and if he had ever had a master before.

"I'm 18 in Neko years, and today is the first day I've ever lost the shop. No one wanted me till today." he explained his ears lowering slightly in embarrassment at having to say it out loud. Usually people just ignored him, he was plain, therefore invisible. His master being the first one other than the shop keeper to really even look at him let alone speak to him. Though that was behind him now, he had a home and a master who seemed to really care for him now. The dark days were gone, and the ones in front of him seemed to be 10 times brighter than he could have dreamed of.

"But I'm still a really hard worker, The shop owner said if I was human he would have hired me. I promise I'll do good work master." he told him smiling up at the man, even if having a leash being pulled on him wasn't the best feeling, it meant that he belonged to someone at least, and that could outshine any small dark clouds on the horizon.

Azure

Azure shot up from his position on the rock when Micah spoke about not being allowed to let him go. His heart throbbed in pain, and he sighed, sinking to the floor of his small tank, drawing his sparkly tail up to his chest. There had to be a way out of there, there had too. Micah seemed willing to help, it seemed he hated Master Richard too, or was at least going to try doing what he could to get him back to the sea.

Hearing that Micah was going to get him fish, Azure heard his stomach rumble, a small blush on his face. How long had he been here without food? Being a mermaid he could usually last a little longer than a human could and there was kelp in his tank for whenever his master returned but in that time he had finished it all, even when he was eating only a few bites a day so that it wouldn't waste quickly. The thought that he would have died all alone here of starvation had Micah not found him terrified and angered Azure to no end.

"You better find me a way out! I'm sick of this place, I have been for years." Azure said with a pouted, rocking slightly in his spot, staring at the lid of his tank, and the cursed lock that kept him from moving it. Hearing that Micah had studied Marine Biology, Azure's ears perked up and he swam to the glass where he was closest tow here the man was sitting, crossing his arms in front of him. "You care about the ocean and its creatures?" Azure asked, thinking this man was very, very different to Master Richard His Master couldn't give a shit about the wonders that were down in the water, always said things were better off up on land where he show them off to his friends, or enjoy them for his own amusement.

"Your grandfather-"

Azure cut himself off, glancing away. Why had Richard wanted him? A few reasons, one standing out more than others. Did... Did Micah really not know? That Azure was just a prize, part of an ocean collection his Master had started years ago. Needing the most 'beautiful' mermaid he could find to complete it. But not just to look at; to use as he saw fit, to experiment with his body, to get up close and personal with a person of the deep.

"Don't ask me questions like that! Your grandfather was a sick bastard, that's all you need to know!" Azure ended up saying to Micah, turning his fin and swimming away behind the big rock again, curling up into a small ball.

God, he hated being stuck like this. Nothing but his pitiful reflection in the glass, and memories of his time spent here running through his brain.

Micah shrugged softly hearing the man ask if he cared about the ocean and the creatures in it. "Not really, I mean I care but I studied it or other reasons." he told him, propping his legs up on a near by table, as he heard the merman say that his grandfather was a sick man, "Him and my father, you don't have to tell me what pieces of shit my family are. I just didn't know he had gone this far, should have had him committed or something." he told him, watching as he hide behind the large rock in the tank. Wondering how he was going to be able to get the man into a new tank so that he could make some improvements to the one he was staying in.

"How did he even get you in there? I didn't think you could go very long without water. If we are going to fix you up a new place to live till we get all this legal stuff figured out gonna need to know where I can put you that you'll be safe." he told him, hearing a knock at the study door and seeing his assistant walk into with a large barrel of fish and a high stack of the books he had requested. "Lunch time Azure hope you're hungry." he told the man, seeing his assistant leave and looking over the tank."Mind telling me how I give you this stuff?" he asked thinking he really was going to have a lot of work to do to make the tank bearable.

Nicholas

Nico rolled his dark eyes, walking down the street while leading Jack along with him. He observed how his new pet looked around in wonder at the things around him, almost going too slow at times so that Nico had to tug the leash a little harder. Though he didn't mind a leisurely stroll now and then, especially with this pet of his looking so fancy in his sparkling collar. Nico was always one to flaunt his things, after all. He wanted people to know just how well off he is, just who he was, so that they'd be too scared to mess with him.

Forget about wolves in sheep's clothing. Nico was a demon, hungry for blood and making it known to everyone.

When the Neko told him his age and the fact that he never had a master before, Nico's smirk grew larger. Jack had some manners, probably in the hopes that he would be adopted, but was overall untrained. It was perfect, the best thing Nico could have to quell his boredom in the mansion when he wasn't needed to do anything outside. The kid seemed very eager to please, and Nico would be very happy to watch him suffer as he tried to do so.

Nico had high tastes after all.

"Oh I'm sure you'll work hard pet, but I'll have to teach you what to do. It's different work than what it is at the shop. Are you ready to start straight away?" Nico said with a dark chuckle, turning to Rufus. "Listen, go back to Ted's place and get me a few things." Reaching into his pocket, Nico wrote down on a piece of paper his order from the shop, toys for them both to enjoy. The kid really had no idea what was coming to him. "Have them in by tonight."

"Yes boss."

Tugging on the leash, Nico continued to walk until they reached the car, getting Jack to hop in before he did and telling the driver to get back home.

"Welcome back Master."

A chorus of voices welcomed him home, and Nico rolled his eyes, dismissing everyone with a wave of his hand. He didn't bother introducing them to Jack, who was now allowed on his feet but was still wearing the collar and leash, because the boy would pretty much only be in his bedroom anyway. And that was a tough gig. Nico was picky about who he let in there.

Walking to the elevator and pressing the button for the penthouse, Nico looked at Jack. "This is where I live. Now, you're a worker for me too, but not like what the maids do. You're going to service me in a different manner." Nico told him as they went up to the room. Smirking, Nico played around with the leash he was holding. "Do you think you can handle that? Hmm? Being my own personal plaything?"

Azure

Azure was honestly surprised that Micah also thought that his grandfather was a disgusting man. So far everyone he had met loved the man, his friends just as horrible and sick as he was, delighting in sitting in this room stinking it up with that smoke they inhaled. They'd look at him, sometimes Master Richard having the big rock in the middle removed from the tank so there was literally nowhere to run and hide from the prying eyes. From the horrible men who smiled like sharks in his direction, wanting him to keep swimming, to show off that sparkling tail of his.

A beautiful collection piece.

Nothing more than that.

Peeking out from the rock, Azure frowned at Micah. Sure he wasn't Master Richard but still... he was his grandson. The coral never fell far from the reef, Azure was sure the two were really the same on the inside. "I was transported in a small tank when I was brought here, then I was carried to here. I can last two hours without water, then I start to get sick and dry up. Being out of the water for more than three hours is like death to a mermaid. Didn't they teach you that in your class?"

Getting out from behind the rock completely again, Nico slammed the glass with his fist, bubbles popping around him. "You know you could just let me out anyway. I don't plan on coming back, and I won't say a word if you don't want me to. Just let me out in the nearest ocean I'll be gone, okay? Who cares about the legal stuff?" The legal stuff is what got me here anyway... Azure thought sadly, knowing the transaction papers for his purchase were locked in a special box somewhere in his Master's playroom.

Seeing the fish being brought in, Azure's green eyes widened and he inched closer to the glass. Oh gosh, so much fish... his stomach grumbled angrily, he hadn't eaten fish in days. When Micah asked him how to feed him, Azure was about to point to the latch when he realised this was the perfect opportunity to do something else - escape. He could get Micah to unlock the glass top so he could jump out. There were a few things decorating the room, he could probably grab something to throw at Micah if he tried to chase after him... it could work...

"There's a key in that desk over there. Master Richard usually unlocks the top and opens it widely so I can get some more oxygen in the water and so he can throw the fish in. There's a ladder in the closet." Azure said, swimming up to the tank's top. His heart was racing, oh gosh he hoped he'd be able to get out of this alive...

Jack

Jack's eyes opened wide seeing the large home his master owned, and that he was now going to be staying in. It really was like something out of a fairy tale. Whoa you live here?" he asked him wondering how someone could even get a place to stay like this, it must have taken a lot of hard work. Seeing that there were other people in the house, that called his master that same name as well. But they weren't Nekos, why were they calling his master theirs? Though he really didn't get a chance to ask, the strangers leaving quickly after his master told them to. Following the red haired man to a large strange looking door and seeing him press a button, Jack leaning over to see what in the world the thing was when it made a loud noise causing Jack to jump back away from it, hiding behind his master as he held on tightly to his arm, his ears pinned back in fear.

The world outside of the shop was scary..

At least he had his master there to take care of him.

He had never seen an elevator before, let alone ridden in one. Thinking he had seen things like this in old movies the store owner would watch and let them watch with him sometimes it was rare though. Hearing the man say that he lived where the elevator was taking them, thinking it must have been lonely to be living up here all by himself. Away from any other soul, why did it seem like his owner didn't have any people around him?

Was that his reason for buying him?

Was his job here going to make sure his master wasn't alone.

Though he got his answer to his question kind of as he heard his Master ask him his question as he held on tightly to his leash.

A play mate?

Was that what he wanted?

Jack could do that, thinking he hadn't really played much since he was still kitten before his siblings all left for their own homes. It might be fun to play games with someone again. "You want to play with me? We can do that Master I know a lot of games from the shop. We can play tag, or hide and seek!" he told him with a large smile, thinking his master didn't really seem like the type to like to play tag, or other games but if that was what he wanted Jack was more than happy to comply.

Micah

Micah shook his head hearing the merman ask him why he didn't learn about mermaids in his class. "Wasn't that kind of class, I mostly studied the water its self. Not the creatures in it, with a sub major on Coral and the reefs they make. I'm not a big fan of fish really." he told him, looking over one of the books that had been brought, thinking he would have to brush up on mermaids though if he was going to be having to care for him. Hearing the Merman tell him that no one would know if he just let him go, Micah sighing softly at the statement.

"As easy as that sounds its not, my grandfather's lawyers will be coming by and checking up on the collection to make sure I am following his wishes. If they find out I'm not then I lose my company something I don't plan on doing since I need money like anyone else to live on." he told him, hearing the man mention a latch at the top of the tank, and a latter. Micah clearing his throat as he looked up, that was such a narrow ledge, one wrong step and he'd be in the tank....in the water....

"Hmmm gonnna have to change that, hate to end up in the tank myself." he told him, heading over to the large door that lead into the room and locking it. Thinking he should be careful, sure his assistant he could trust to be quiet but he didn't know any of the maids and all that lived in the home any one of them could try to sell Azure for money and then Micah would lose everything. Heading over to the closet and grabbing the older latter, wondering how in the world his grandfather handelded doing this all the time. He was an old man after all.

Grabbing a near by bucket Micah filled it up with the fish before slowly climbing up the latter, being very careful of every step he took. Scared of falling into the cold water below him, knowing he would sink to the bottom like a rock within 2 seconds flat. "Alright this latch you said." he said messing with the thing before lifting the large glass top off the tank.

Nicholas

Nicholas rolled his eyes when his new pet asked if he really lived there, thinking the neko really didn't know anything at all Nicholas was from a very powerful family that had their hand in nearly every business in the city, who owned the streets and clubs that littered it, that even influenced the local politicians that governed. He was a fucking big deal, almost everybody knew him, recognised his bright red hair and dark eyes and - most importantly - the scar around his neck that proved he had survived hell and back to deserve respect and his position.

"You're a jumpy one." Niko commented when the cat-boy jumped behind him in front of the elevator. The neko's fingers were holding onto his arms but the man barely reacted, merely walking in and taking his pet with him, waiting until they reached the top. After hearing what Jack said about playing games, Neko laughed loudly, having to stop in his tracks to hold his stomach. "You see Jack, I'm not into those types of games. I like things a little more adult." With a devious smirk, Niko pulled the leash hard so that the neko's face was close to his, their noses touching. "Though hide and seek sounds fun, we should definitely play that. I'm sure you've got a nice hiding spot somewhere up your sleeve." Niko said, running a hand down Jack's back and to the base of his tail. "I heard that this is a really nice place for cats. Does it feel good when I do this?" Niko asked, gripping the base of the tail. Even though Jack was a very plain-furred cat, his fur felt wonderfully smooth against Niko's fingers. Soft, unmatted, and pretty long too, almost the length of his index finger.

"Does it feel even better when I do this?" Niko asked, smiling wickedly before bringing his face closer to Jack's and kissing his lips, continuing to stroke the base of his tail behind him. His dark eyes were wide as he watched Jack, wanting to see all the reactions the boy could give him. If he was innocent as he sounded, then Niko wanted to be the first to see all the emotions that crossed his face and more importantly, wanted to be the first to take that body places it had never been before.

Jack

Jack gasped feeling his neck pulled on by his master, that wasn't the best feeling... he thought to himself rubbing his neck as he opened his eyes and saw how close he was to his master, his face going red as he felt the man touch his tail. T-this isn't how you play hide and seek Master." he told him, feeling his throat vibrate slightly as a purr came out once more. What is he doing to me? he thought to himself when he heard the man ask him if he felt good, Jack closing his eyes at the question.

What the heck kind of game was this?

"I-its feel weird..." He told him, thinking that it did but it did also feel kinda good. Just like in the pet shop when Master had touched his ears. And there was that sound his body was making, that he had never heard it make before.

What the heck was going on here?

Opening on of his eyes as he heard his master ask him another question before the man's face came into contact with his, Jack's eyes opening in shock at the action. What is he doing to me?" he thought to himself, thinking he almost felt like he was running a fever like when he was younger and go sick, but he wasn't sick was he? If he wasn't sick why did he feel like his skin was on fire. Letting out a soft moan, Jack pulled his face away from the man bright red covering his hand with his mouth as he did.

"M-Master l-lets stop this game isn't very fun." he said pinning his ears down and looking away from the man. Why was he playing with him like this? Touching his tail and his lips? Was this something that others did? A-and I think I have a f-fever" he told the Master thinking that had to be the answer for why he was acting so strangely; though to be fair his master was acting even stranger it seemed. His other hand gripping onto the master's shirt tightly. He was strong, Jack could feel that, he was tall too. Why were humans so big? Or was it that Neko just tended to be much smaller? Touching his lips Jack looked up at the man, wondering if this was some kind of human game they were playing and that was why it was making him feel so weird. Hi heart was racing, he felt like he had been lit on fire from the inside out and...Jack eyes widened as he felt a weird feeling his pants.

Maybe he was the strange one here..

Azure

Not a big fan of fish, he says, right in front of one!

Azure was glaring at Micah, thinking that for someone who wasn't as cruel as his grandfather he was still rude. Honestly, it would just be best for the both of them if Micah just let him go right then and there! He seemed to be a bother to the man for some reason and even though it was annoying since Azure didn't feel like he did anything wrong to warrant such a reaction, it could work to his advantage.

If it meant his freedom he'd bother the other until he dropped dead.

Hearing that Master Richard wasn't going to make escape difficult even after he was rotting six feet under, Azure sighed angrily, leaning back against the glass. This stupid tank was so small.He couldn't even stretch his tail full length if he lay down horizontally. It had been his 'home' for far too long, and Azure was long sick of it.

He had this chance now, to escape. Glancing up at the glass top of the tank, Azure didn't notice Micah lock the large door to the room but his ears picked up a piece of very significant information.

Hate to end up in the tank myself.

Micah didn't like water?

Well. Azure supposed he'd have to get used to it.

Movement from outside the tank had Azure glancing to where Micah was filling a bucket up full of fish, his emerald eyes widening. If he got back to the ocean he'd have all the fish he wanted... though it had been nice of Micah to get him so much, when really Master Richard only fed him enough so he wouldn't starve to death on his watch. Micah was very slow walking up the later, Azure lazily swimming around as he waited for the other to get to the top, trying to keep his face expressionless as he planned what to do in his head.

As soon as the latch opens, I pull him in and slide down the ladder!

"Yes, that one. The big lock." Azure said, stilling his movements and holding his breath. Soon, it opened.

Finally.

Using his fin to torpedo himself upward, Azure practically jumped out of the tank, grabbing Micah by the shirt and pulling him in. There was a splash and Azure swam to the edge, ready to use the ladder to get down-

"Oh! No! Come back!"

The ladder tilted and ended up falling down to side, Azure reaching out but grabbing air from the side of his tank. Groaning with frustration, he almost wanted to jump down but glancing at the floor he realised that it was a bit too much of a jump. It made him dizzy, but he really wanted to go before Micah swam up to-

Hey. Where was Micah? Shouldn't he have tried to drag Azure down with him by now?

Glancing down in his tank, Azure's eyes widened and he remembered Micah saying how he would hate to have just fallen in...
